Its been announced that Kali - (code name for Revalations), Chapter 1 is being deployed Tuesday 28th November. Eve will be down for 24 hours.

Over the coming days I’ll be writing up a summary of what I’ve seen on Tranquility (edit sorry!)Singularity, as its been on there for at least a couple of days now - and the notes online.

First up though - I have to say, I’m really impressed with the concept - AND content and functionality its bringing to the server - Eve has always provided a level of entertainment unmatched by anything else I’ve played in a long time, but to be honest, this new patch, and its additions to the Eve Universe, is going to leave lots of players with a grin on thier faces - and possibly a deficit of ISK.

Some highlights - which will link up to posts in the coming days….

Faction warfare - does exactly what it says on the tin - you can now have wars between factions in a more official and understood way.

Contracts - everything from loans to courier contracts are being added.

Voice chat (seperately deployed in December) in built voice chat, so instead of using teamspeak ‘etc’, we can now use chat in game. A major point of excitement for people looking to command fleets.

Speaking of which - fleet command(aka Combat Organisation) looks to be a really cool addition.

They are also adding invention and new ships and rigs - some of which look, and seem, incredible.

In short, Revalations, and its sister patches, Cold War and Red Moon Rising, look great. And in the coming weeks we’ll be writing up the new information as we explore.
