So You Want To Do All The Careers?

OK…..

So you want to be a kick ass combat pilot, market mogul, manufacturing guru, with a strip mining operation and be researching more toys than the Q Division in a James Bond Movie?

Well damn, is all I’m going to say. However I can advise you on the most logical path to take…

I’d go for the Mining/Combat operations first. This will build up your initial income and get you used to the belts. As soon as you have built up a sizeable ’stock’ of Ore, then its time to move into Research.

Whilst doing research you can continue with the combat operations. Now the reason for doing this route so far is to build up all thos lovely skills. Yes skills are the quintessential meat and potatoes of doing this, and sadly, as your most needed resource, they are also what will take the longest to acquire.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, so now you are researching. A good idea at this point is to have gotten into moon mining so you are still bringing in materials and you can deploy a mobile lab at the POS to help with the research. When you have a good supply of BPOS (10+) then its time to go into manufacture and trade. These two go hand in hand (as if you hadn’t already guessed) and by deploying assembly arrays at your POS you can mine, refine, research and build the items you want and then just haul em to a local station and shove em on the market, this can be true of materials, BPO’s (I wouldn’t sell these though if I were you), BPC’s (much better for selling) and goods.

So now you have your fortunes coming in you can sit back, employ players to take some of the strain off you (if you haven’t already) and focus on whichever field you enjoyed the most. I will add that even though combat may have seemed sat at a wayside here, it is a great fallback profession as you will always find NPC rats in the local belts that are worth a spare bit of cash when you need it and knowing how combat works when you are hauling is always extremely useful so you know how to escape problems.

Anyway thats it for me on these roles for the moment. I hope you have enjoyed reading these tips and guides.
