Asteroids (Or Floating Rocks of Money)
So what types of asteroids are there in EVE Online for mining? Well what you find is dependant on a couple of factors, firstly it depends on the security rating of the system your in. The 0.0 types of asteroid is determined by region, so if you don’t see a specific type of ore then chances are your region may not support it.
Ok, in order of rarity, type and value the asteroid types are:

As you can see the ore types are in an Alphabetic list based on the basic type of ore with the most valuable types closer to A then Z.

Just a quick note to say that I have found Kernite and Omber in 0.7 space

It’s:
Kernite > Luminous Kernite > Fiery Kernite
Veldspar > Concentrated Veldspar > Dense Veldspar
Scordite > Condensed Scordite > Massive Scordite
as far as the base > 5% > 10% goes. Bistot may be off too.
